The 9th April was CSS Naked day, the day where you get nude on the web and show off your , by removing your CSS entirely. The point is to draw attention to how the content still works in just plain HTML.

Andy Bell releases Learn Eleventy From Scratch a new course where he teaches how build a comprehensive JAMstack websites using Eleventy.

Typography #

Type Foundry Directory is a curated index of type foundries by Matthew Smith of Morning Type. The site is built from an Airtable spreadsheet using the Airtable javascript client.

Quarantype. The Zetafonts team release ten free font which they created over ten days whilst trapped home during the Coronavirus outbreak.

An interesting website to demonstrate the benefits of variable fonts from Type Network.

French type designer Ethan Nakache talks to It’s Nice That about his retro inspired, “spooky and classy” variable typeface, Sprat.
